Your membership in the Kelowna & District Safety Council demonstrates your commitment to safety in our community, and allows us to maintain our status as a nonprofit society.

Membership is only $5.00 per year, and entitles you to participate in our Annual General Meeting, vote on Board members, and help shape the future of our important work in Kelowna and beyond.

Membership UPDATE – SEPTEMBER 28, 2020

Dear member of the Kelowna & District Safety Council Society,

The 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held on Thursday, October 15, at 6:30 PM.  This will be an ONLINE meeting (you may also participate by telephone). 

The meeting will be your opportunity to: 1) receive information on the Society finances during 2019, 2) receive a general update on the Society’s finances through mid-2020, 3) nominate and vote on individuals to serve on the Society’s Board of Directors, and 4) ask any other questions that you might have about the Society and its programs. 

We sincerely hope that you will participate, as your involvement is essential to the vitality and standing of KDSC as a nonprofit organization.

  • Participation in the online meeting requires advance registration. To register, please click HERE. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration.

  • KDSC bylaws stipulate that active membership is a requirement for voting at member meetings. If you are receiving this email, and plan to attend the 2020 AGM, but have not yet renewed your membership in 2020, we kindly request that you do so at https://kdsc.bc.ca/become-a-member.

  • The web page immediately above will also be used to include advance information for the AGM, so be sure to check back regularly for updates.

  • Membership is only $5.00 annually, but is extremely important for the Society to fulfill its mission of increasing safety in our community.
