Alone@Home – Home Alone Skills for Children – REGISTER NOW
KDSC’s Home Alone course for ages 9 – 11 is designed to provide children with important skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone, including how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.
Upon the completion of this program, children will be familiar with:
- their responsibilities when they are home alone
- establishing a daily routine and managing their time
- personal safety knowledge and skills
- what to do in case of an emergency
- fire safety
- basic first aid
PRICE: $52.50 (no tax)
Course Time: 9:00 am – 2:30pm
What children need to bring: pencil, water bottle, snack and a lunch.
This program focuses on small group discussions, problem solving, role-playing, and instructor-led demonstrations. All students will receive a student manual and a graduation certificate. This fun and interactive course will boost your child’s confidence and make parents feel more at ease when children are left alone.
